Born on April 12, 1933 in Fonda, NY, she was the daughter of Alpha Dillenbeck and Naomi Henry Dillenbeck. She was a graduate of Fonda High School, class of 1951 and a lifetime resident of Palatine Bridge. Mrs. Carroll worked with her husband on Carroll’s Family Farm, a dairy farm in Palatine Bridge, NY for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stone Arabia, NY. Mrs. Carroll enjoyed plastic canvas and crocheting. On October 15, 1955 she was married to Merton Carroll in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Stone Arabia. He preceded her in death on August 25, 1999. Mrs. Carroll is survived by her daughter, Joy N. Carroll Richards of Palatine Bridge, NY; a son, James A. Carroll of Amsterdam, NY; brother, Charles Dillenbeck of Fonda, NY; grandchildren, Kristina Richards of Palatine Bridge, NY and Eric Richards of Palatine Bridge, NY.
